Royle Equestrian Centre has an indoor school measuring 20 X 40m with new surface put down in 2013.
An outdoor school measuring 20 X 60m, with outdoor lights for winter evenings. New surface planned for May 2015.
There is an outdoor sand menage which is about an acre in size (170m long x 40 m wide) and can be set up to accommodate a 20m x 60m dressage area. There is additonal space for a working hunter course, including an open ditch, Derby Bank and Devil's Dyke. There is a full set of worker fences available for use.
We are planning to upgrade the above area to an all weather surface, with flood lighting, in 2015.
There is a 12m diameter round pen. We also intend to build a 50 ft round pen for breaking and schooling, lunging and long reining in 2015.
Large (6) horse walker (with roof) planned for September 2015.
Summer turn out is facilitated by 21 paddocks of various sizes. The grass is well maintained and weed free. Fences are mainly post and rail with electric tape. Mare and geldings are kept separate.
There is also limited turnout in winter, depending on the weather and ground conditions.
Our "Ride 'n' Dine" Cafe provides refreshments at the weekend. Hot food and drinks available - bacon butties a speciality. Great for relaxing with friends.
